Playa de las Américas clubs: what's on tonight and how it fits together

Papagayo, El Nido and Mala Mía are all here, no more than fifteen minutes apart on foot, with Monkey Beach Club next door to Papagayo on the Costa Adeje side and OA Beach Club on the seafront, ten minutes from Mala Mía. Sleep in this zone and you walk to every night on this site; even WILD in Los Cristianos is about thirty-five minutes along the coast.

Papagayo sits at number 76 in DJ Mag's 2026 club ranking.
Thursday doubles up: the White Party and Follow are five minutes apart.
Mala Mía is the alternative on Fridays and Saturdays, drink and shot included, fifteen minutes inland.
Playa de las Américas is the zone with the clubs. Three of the six venues on this site sit within fifteen minutes' walk of each other here, and a fourth, OA Beach Club, is on the seafront ten minutes on foot from Mala Mía. This page is what is on, where exactly, and how to move between them.
The lie of the land
The resort is split between two municipalities, Arona to the south and Adeje to the north, and the line between them runs along the seafront by Playa de Troya. That matters for one reason: the two big beach clubs, Papagayo Tenerife (Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina 2) and Monkey Beach Club (number 3 on the same avenue), stand on the Troya seafront a five-minute walk apart. Papagayo's ticket pages place it in Playa de las Américas; Monkey Beach Club gives its own address as Playa de Troya, Costa Adeje, and that is how this site files it. Mala Mía sits inland on Calle México, in the Arona half, about fifteen minutes on foot from both.
Walk south along the seafront past the Arona side and you reach Las Verónicas, a strip of bars and clubs, and then, after Playa de las Vistas, Los Cristianos. Walk north past Playa de Troya and you are in San Eugenio and Costa Adeje proper.
Papagayo Tenerife and El Nido
Papagayo is a beach club by day and a club by night. It entered DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs for 2026 at number 76, which lists it at a capacity of 1,500 across two floors, with five bars and open-air terraces. Five nights a week are on sale: Move On on Wednesdays (funky, house and classics), Follow on Thursdays (Latin tech and Afro house), La Loka on Fridays (reggaeton, urban and open format), Essence on Saturdays (house, tech house and groove) and Piknik on Sundays (disco, funk and house). All start at 23:00 on the ticket pages (the club lists doors from 22:00), with last normal entrance at 01:00.
El Nido is Papagayo's second room, same address. On Sundays it runs Glow Night, a reggaeton, dembow and Brazilian funk night from 23:00 to 03:00 with the door closing at 00:30. It is the night on this site where arriving early matters most.
Monkey Beach Club
Next door, above Playa de Troya and looking out towards La Gomera, Monkey Beach Club is a cluster of bars and restaurants by day and a beach party venue at night, with beach parties since 2007. The night on sale here is the White Party on Thursdays, 22:30 to 03:45, with a white dress code and a surcharge if you arrive after 01:00.

Mala Mía
Mala Mía is the alternative on Calle México, with a simpler formula: doors at 23:00, last entrance at 01:30 and a ticket that includes entry, a drink and a shot. Three nights are on sale here: Chicas al Poder on Tuesdays, Nasty on Fridays and Urban Tenerife on Saturdays. It is the easiest to add to a night that started somewhere else.

OA Beach Club
On the seafront in the Arona half, beside the Villa Cortés hotel, OA Beach Club is a beach club (OA stands for Océano Atlántico) with sunbeds, a natural pool, a restaurant and a beach bar. Its parties start in the afternoon: the Tenerife Beach Party on Saturdays to 28 November, from 17:00, and on 31 October the Halloween Beach Party, 17:00 to 23:00, both with a late-arrival fee at the door after 19:00. It is ten minutes on foot from Mala Mía and twenty from Papagayo, so a Saturday can begin here in daylight and end in a club.

Where to sleep in the zone
If the clubs are the plan, stay between Playa de Troya and Calle México: Papagayo, El Nido, Monkey Beach Club and Mala Mía are then within fifteen minutes on foot, and WILD in Los Cristianos is twenty-five to thirty-five minutes away. The clubs are on the Troya seafront itself, so the party is on your doorstep. The Arona side runs towards Las Verónicas; the Adeje side around San Eugenio is closer to Costa Adeje's beaches. The full comparison with Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos is on the Where to stay page.
A typical week here

Frequently asked questions
Which clubs are in Playa de las Américas?
Papagayo Tenerife and its second room El Nido, Mala Mía, and OA Beach Club on the seafront, whose parties start at 17:00. Monkey Beach Club is next door to Papagayo, on the Costa Adeje side of Playa de Troya, and WILD is just over the line in Los Cristianos.
Is Papagayo in Arona or Adeje?
Its ticket pages give the address as Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina 2, 38660 Playa de las Américas; the tourism board lists it under Adeje. Either way it is on the Playa de Troya seafront, where the two municipalities meet.
What is there to do on a Monday night?
None of the club nights on this site falls on a Monday, so it is the natural night off. The week restarts on Tuesday with Chicas al Poder at Mala Mía.
How far is Las Verónicas from Papagayo?
Further south along the same seafront, on the Arona side of Playa de las Américas. We have not measured that walk, so we do not give a time.
